Sayaka is a student in Hope's Peak Academy's Class 78th, and a participant of the Killing School Life. She is the Super High School Level Idol (超高校級のアイドル), or the Ultimate Pop Sensation in the English localization.
She is the lead singer of an incredibly popular idol group. She and Makoto were classmates in middle school.
