Accelerator is the most powerful Esper in Academy City. Their real name is unknown, though Accelerator recalls their surname was composed of two characters and their given name consisted of three characters.
A sadistic person about the same age as Touma, Accelerator has the esper power "Accelerator", an ability unique to them. The ability includes "Vector Change", a form of telekinesis that allows Accelerator to change the vector values of anything they touch, due in part to having a thin coat of AIM fields surrounding their body.
